Gunmen flee with drugs and cash after 2 drug store robberies

York Regional Police Heist Unit investigators are looking for three male suspects and witnesses following two pharmacy robberies in the City of Vaughan and the Town of Richmond Hill.

On Monday, September 19, 2022, at approximately 1:45 p.m., police responded to a pharmacy, located in the area of ​​Chancellor Drive and Fiori Drive, Vaughan for a report of theft. Officers learned that three male suspects entered the store, threatened employees with handguns and demanded prescription drugs and money. The suspects obtained various narcotics and cash, then fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

The employees were not physically injured.

Later that day, at around 7 p.m., police responded to another pharmacy, located in the Yonge Street and Bedford Park Avenue area of ​​Richmond Hill, for a report of robbery.

Officers learned that three suspects entered the store, demanding money and drugs while brandishing handguns. The suspects obtained various narcotics and cash, then fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

The employees were not physically injured.

Investigators believe the same suspects were involved in both incidents.

The suspects are described as follows: male, black, adult, wearing black clothing, gloves and masks.

Investigators are looking for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or anyone who may have dash cam or CCTV footage in the area at the time of the incidents, please come forward.
